What can you do in Koli?
Koli offers landscapes, nature, trails, and sights all year round.
The Ukko Nature Centre is the starting point of Koli National Park, where you can get an overview of the area, tips on attractions, and information about trails, guided tours, and services.
Koli Nature Center Ukko introduces you to Finland's most famous national landscape, as well as the wilderness and traditional environments of Eastern Finland. With a focus on the national landscape, the basic exhibition allows you to explore the geology, nature, and culture of Koli National Park in depth. In the free hiking exhibition, you can safely learn the essentials of hiking and hiking etiquette. At the Nature Center, you can also receive advice and tips for hiking in Koli National Park and the broader North Karelia biosphere area. Additionally, you will find changing art exhibitions, two meeting rooms, one of which is a 200-person auditorium.
