During public holidays, we are generally open every day.
Cafe Koli is open on Saturdays starting in May and daily throughout the summer from the beginning of June, following Ukko’s opening hours.
Welcome to Koli Nature Center Ukko!
Koli Nature Center Ukko introduces you to Finland's most famous national landscape, as well as the wilderness and traditional environments of Eastern Finland. With a focus on the national landscape, the basic exhibition allows you to explore the geology, nature, and culture of Koli National Park in depth. In the free hiking exhibition, you can safely learn the essentials of hiking and hiking etiquette. At the Nature Center, you can also receive advice and tips for hiking in Koli National Park and the broader North Karelia biosphere area. Additionally, you will find changing art exhibitions, two meeting rooms, one of which is a 200-person auditorium.
