Adventure at Jero Lake - Rent a Canoe!
Whether you're seeking a tranquil paddling experience or eager to explore stunning surroundings, renting a canoe is the perfect choice for your adventure. At Jero Lake, we offer canoe rentals that allow you to immerse yourself in nature and discover the beauty of the area at your own pace.
Price: 3-hour rental: 45 EUR/canoe
Location: The canoes are located on a trailer at Lake Jero. Detailed instructions on the exact location will be provided when you make the rental reservation.
Rental Hours: You can pick up the life jackets between 10 am and 6 pm. Please ensure that you return the life jackets before the designated return time.
Safety Equipment: Life jackets are mandatory and will be provided with the rental. Please wear them at all times while on the water to ensure your safety.
Rental Process: To rent a canoe, visit Koli Nature Centre Ukko at Ylä-kolintie 39, 83960 Koli. Bring your identification with you when renting the canoes.
Rental Duration: You can choose the duration of the rental period based on hours. The rental period starts between 10 am and 6 pm.
Responsibility: We kindly ask you to enjoy canoeing responsibly. Follow proper etiquette on the water, such as avoiding excessive noise that may disturb the tranquility of the lake. Keep a safe distance from bird nesting islands and respect the privacy of cottage owners by not approaching their shores or docks.
Return: Please return the canoesto the trailer in the same condition as you received them. Return the life jackets to Koli Nature Centre Ukko in a tidy state before 6:00 pm. If you need to return the life jackets after the closing hours, there is a separate return cabinet located on the outer wall of the Nature Centre Ukko. Further instructions will be provided during the rental process.
Please note that transporting the canoes to other lakes is not allowed. Enjoy your canoeing experience on the beautiful Lake Jero!
