From Cultural Landscape to National Landscape at Koli Keidas
From Koli Oasis, accompanied by a guide, we set off towards the summit of Ukko-Koli. Along the way, we pass by traditional yards, meadows, and birch forests. The guide will share information about the cultural traditions and history of Koli. The majestic shapes of Koli provide a good workout during the ascent. We also pass by the ancient sacrificial crevice, which is protected by the Ancient Monuments Act.
At the top of Koli, you will enjoy magnificent forested landscapes towards Koli Village and the world-famous national landscape of Lake Pielinen. The guide will explain the formation history of the peaks during the summit tour. The guide will also have fascinating stories to share about the nature of Koli and the mystical tales of the area!

Distance: During the excursion, we walk approximately 5 km.
Price: €300 for 1-5 people + €37 per additional person.

Difficulty Level: The route is challenging due to significant changes in elevation, but the trails are mostly wide and relatively easy to walk. We progress at a relaxed pace and take breaks.
Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing according to the weather and suitable footwear.
