Mythical Koli -guided tour
Ancient Finland was a land of forests, and humans lived in unity with the surrounding natural world. Nature has been a source of wonder for thousands of years, and our ancient ancestors had a very different relationship with the forest and its inhabitants - real and imagined - than modern humans. On the Mythology tour, you will learn about the court of Tapio, the forest king, learn magic words and ponder the worldview of ancient Finns. You may find pieces of it in your everyday life!
Koli is an authentic environment of ancient mythology, as evidenced by the Koli summit's court stones and the “Sacrificial Crack” (Uhrihalkeama).
